2 January 1911 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 2nd [January 1911]. There was half a gale of wind & tho’ Dr came for Regina there was no getting her across the Giudecca to the Hospital as I had intended doing. However in the afternoon it was better & I took Countess Papadopoli over to see the Hospital wh she had never yet seen. Gino Franchetti went over with us. Both were pleased. We got rid of Gino at S. Moisé & went the Css & I to the Hultons where there was a tea party & where we stayed a little while. | |
