10 April 1911 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Monday. 10th [April 1911]. Returned today to cold & dull weather. Was ever such an April! Letters from Capt. Boyle & Philip Skinner by the early post full of thanks for our attempts to entertain the cadets. Eda & I went off to the Hospital directly after lunch & thence to the Piazza & to see Bss Reinelt & found out why she was after her outing to lunch here yesterday. She was none the worse. We met Css Papadopoli there & went with her to tea with the Whitakers & then Eda & I had a quiet evening which we enjoyed.
