18 June 1911 — Milton Court, nr. Dorking, Surrey | |
Sunday. 18th [June 1911]. I remained late in bed being very tired & sad– It is 42 years since I first came here on my honeymoon—& had the same room. Bessboros’ came over to tea when it cleared & was lovely. I never saw a finer evening—perfectly cloudless sky & a balmy breeze. The Bessboros’ came over to tea in motor. Edward walked back to Springfield & I accompanied him & then walked back in time for 8 o’cl dinner. Very early to bed. | |
