11 January 1912 — Cairo | |
Thursday. 11th [January 1912]. Breakfasted at 7.30—Eda, Capt. Fitz: & I. Lord Kitchener appeared later & saw us off at the door. Capt. Fitz: accompanied us to the station & Eda & I left by the 8.30 train for Luxor. There was excellent food in the restaurant car. We reached Luxor at 10.30 & had comfortable rooms in the Luxor Hotel & quickly turned into bed. | |
