17 April 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Wednesday. 17th [April 1912]. Today there was an eclipse of the sun. The sky cleared very opportunely a very short time before it began & we were able to watch it from the windows thro’ bits of smoked glass. It began just before 12 & finished after 2. It was not quite total here. There was a Concert at the Fenice to wh I sent Nela & Violet in the evening. | |
