20 May 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 20th [May 1912]. Took Matt out in the afternoon to call on Bss Reinelt & introduced him to her. We thence went to Mrs Curtis that he might admire the Palazzo Barbaro where she has such a splendid apartment. Nela joined us & he went off sketching with her– I walked to the Piazza & then home. I went out for a “giro” with Matt after dinner. A lovely & warm night– Nela stayed to take care of Pss T. & T. who leaves us on Thursday. I wrote to ask Da Laura to let me, Nela & Matt go & stay a couple of days with her on Saty next. | |
