10 June 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Monday. 10th [June 1912]. Baroness Reinelt, Mr Rolt & Css Elena Coletti née Mocenigo of St Stae came to lunch. The latter now lives at Trieste where her husband represents a firm in wood selling. After 5 we went to the Eden’s garden on the Giudecca where there are still lovely roses & masses of tall lilies. On our return home we found Mr Montalba sitting waiting for us in the door way & we persuaded him to remain & dine with us. | |
