11 June 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Tuesday. 11th [June 1912]. Nora Hallé came in the morning & we both modelled all the morning. Nela & I went off at ¼ to 1 to lunch at the Hotel Victoria with Baroness Reinelt & there met a Countess Leonardo of Milan—a very pleasant young woman. Mr Wood R.A. dined with us & I had my last weekly reception of this summer—a good many English & Americans came. A Mr Wilson (sculptor) & his wife came—very pleasant people & she very nice looking & well dressed in a picturesque way. | |
