15 June 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice
Saturday. 15th [June 1912]. I telegraphed to Marchesa Peruzzi at Asolo asking for news of Pen Browning & got a message to say she has left Asolo. At 3 o’clock Mr & Mrs Phipps called bringing Mr (& Mrs) Robinson of the New York Museum, & Mr Gay (artist). Showed them round the pictures. The Phipps are parents of Amy Guest. At 4 went to see Angela Reinelt & bid her good bye for the present– Then to the Montalbas to tea. To hospital to give last directions. Bid Edens adieu at their garden– Went to see the Prices—Mr P. not being well & home. Ethel Villamarina & her girl called before dinner & Marchesa Capelli afterwards—to bed tired.
