Sunday. 16th [June 1912]. Nela & I started for Paris attended by my maid Baker in the train de luxe at 12 o’cl. We had for travelling companions Mr Byard the Englishman who sings so beautifully and his friend the pianist Mr Rolt. It was pleasant to have them to talk to at meals in the restaurant car. | |
