28 July 1912 — Ca’ Capello, Venice | |
Sunday. 28th [July 1912]. Cav. Arbib & his daughter came to see me to wish me good bye in the morning. I left for London by the train de luxe at noon. It was a very hot day. Very empty train. Only Mr Forbes besides ourselves & we met at meals in the restaurant wagon. | |
