29 July 1912 — En route to London | |
Monday. 29th [July 1912]. Reached Paris at 7 a.m. & went on to Calais in a perfectly empty train, Baker & I the only passengers. Got to 3 Savile Row about 5.30—found Nellie Wyld staying there. My sisters Blanche & Connie both came to see me & Nellie & I went to dine at 17 Cavendish Square with Edward, Blanche being out. | |
