28 August 1912 — Bessborough, Fiddown, County Kilkenny | |
Wednesday. 28th [August 1912]. & Thursday. 29th Painted in the mornings at the theatre scene with Vere. We began the 2nd one—the tomb of Juliette from a photograph I had sent from Venice thereby simplifying matters. In the afternoons drove with Blanche in poney trap with her little white poney Flash who took us along splendidly. Then in the evenings we took walks to the cottages only returning in time for dressing for dinner. | |
