20 September 1912 — Salce, Belluno | |
Friday. 20th [September 1912]. There was thunder, rain & wind in the night & we had a gloomy & chilly day. Mme Wiel, Mrs P. & Lord de V. came over to tea & Nela & I walked back with them within a short distance of Socchieva & then returned to Salce by the fields– Rain threatened & the young moon looked red—but we got in dry. | |
