Monday. 7th [October 1912]. It poured all day—we finished the puzzle. I read a lot to Sir Arthur as there was no getting out. I began to read him Henry’s Early Adventures. Corise arrived from London to stay & came by the house at 5. After tea I read again aloud. | |
